Doorstep Portraits in Northamptonshire

In normal circumstances, I would have been taking some newborn photos last week. But as we’re still in lockdown, I’ve had to be a little more creative!

Staying creative and continuing to get my camera out during lockdown has been so important to me. Whilst all my family photo shoots are cancelled, I’ve spent most of lockdown photographing beautiful products for small businesses - which has been throughly enjoyable! But getting my camera out to document some actual real-life people was just like a breath of fresh air :)

Last week I met with this gorgeous family to capture some precious moments on their doorstep as their family became 4. Whilst it’s different to my normal shoots (in terms of length and location), I still loved capturing these smiles and documenting something special. I kept my distance and the shoot lasted about 10-15 minutes, so it was completely chilled and something that could fit in around everyone’s schedules.
