Will it be awkward?

How long will I be waiting for photos?

Where are you based and do you travel?

I get that your feelings towards a shoot may bring memories from your childhood! Remember Olan Mills anyone?! The thought of it being awkward is the very last thing I want. My sessions are completely relaxed - all I ask is that you come prepared to get close, connect and just enjoy being with your family! My hope is that I’ll always produce images that are natural and relaxed and anything but cheesy.

I work really hard after your shoot to edit down your images. Each image is individually edited to perfection! I choose the very best from your shoot - getting rid of the ones where you’re blinking or perhaps caught in mid-sentence!
Images will be ready between 1-2 weeks after the shoot. I’ll email you a link to your gallery (please be sure to check spam folders if you don’t see it within this time).

I am based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire but I’m happy to travel. Shoots within Northamptonshire are included within the price, anything outside of this area is charged at 45p per mile.

What happens if I need to cancel?

What if my children misbehave?

I want an in-home shoot but I don’t think my house would work

Being a mum, I completely understand that plans change all the time. If for any reason you need to cancel, I will work with you to find the next available date. If however we can’t find a date that works for us both, you will receive a full refund (minus the deposit).

I want you to know that my shoots are never conditional on your children behaving in a certain way. I’m not looking for those staged smiling-at-the-camera images. I want to capture something a little more real. If your child is in a mood, then that’s ok. Some of my most favourite images of my children are when they are in some strop over something! It shows more of their personality and that’s something I’d much rather remember than something that is fake or forced.

Light is my main priority during a session at home. Not what your house looks like or whether you think it’s tidy enough! When you book a session with me, I offer lots of tips to help you prepare for in-home sessions - so please don’t worry! You’d be surprised at how little of your house I actually show within the images.
If you’re unsure about having it in your home but still want a lifestyle-look, you may want to hire a location for an hour or so. I know of 2 beautiful homes that can be rented out especially for these shoots, so please get in touch for more details!
